During the latest Switch 2 Direct presentation, it was announced that Nintendo will be adding a significant and often demanded new feature to their Nintendo Switch Online service – the inclusion of classic GameCube games in their subscription service’s collection. Now, an additional feature for the forthcoming GameCube library has been unveiled.
According to Nintendo Life, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 (assuming there is one) will allow GameCube titles accessible through Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack to include a TV-style CRT filter option. This feature is sure to delight fans seeking an even more genuine retro gaming experience.
On June 5, which marks the launch of Switch 2, subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will gain access to GameCube titles on their new console. To start, players can enjoy three games: “The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker,” “F-Zero GX,” and “Soulcalibur 2.” As time progresses, additional games such as “Super Mario Sunshine,” “Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness,” “Pokemon Colosseum,” “Luigi’s Mansion,” and more will become available.
