Sydney Sweeney’s Surprise Met Gala 2025 After-Party Date Revealed

Sydney Sweeney had a pawfect plus-one at the 2025 Met Gala.

On May 5th, following her walk along the renowned stairs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the actress from Euphoria unveiled her unexpected companion – her newly acquired dog named Sully.

27-year-old Sydney was spotted exiting The Carlyle Hotel in New York City, affectionately hugging her German Shepherd puppy. It’s unclear whether the actress from Madame Web attended a post-party with her pet pooch, but she chose a more laid-back style for the occasion. Still sporting her sleek bun hairstyle from the Met Gala red carpet, Sydney—who is also a mother to a Pitbull-mix named Tank—flashed a smile while dressed in an all-white ensemble, complete with oval glasses and few accessories.

As for Sully, he stayed near his mom while rocking his own dog couture: a blue leash.

Previously, Sully made his first appearance at the Met’s post-events following the debut, but this wasn’t the first time the actor from White Lotus expressed joy over the latest member of his family. He announced the new puppy in a heartfelt Instagram post in April, which was only about a month after he parted ways with his fiancé, Johnathan Davino.

Sydney labeled this post as ‘Meet Sully Bear!’ It contains pictures of her and Sully enjoying time together. In just two weeks, he’s turned into my top best pal, my bowling partner, my napping partner, a shared lover of water activities, and my travel companion.

However, the pair’s outing at Met was delightful, but Sydney’s solo performance at the fashion event, which was chaired by Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, and Anna Wintour of Vogue, left an equally lasting impression.

The duo’s visit to Met was nice, but Sydney’s independent act at the fashion show, hosted by co-chairs such as Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, and Anna Wintour from Vogue, made just as strong an impact.

In the upcoming directorial debut film “Scandalous!”, the actress who plays Kim Novak in “Anyone But You” honored the legendary star by wearing a black beaded Miu Miu gown. The dress, accentuated by a peekaboo neckline, was delicately held together at its base with a gold brooch.
