Having been a long-time fan of the extraction shooter genre and post-apocalyptic settings, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of *Synduality: Echo of Ada* in early 2025! As someone who has lost countless hours (and in-game items) to the unforgiving nature of these games, I’m eager to see how Bandai Namco will shake up the formula with this title.
In the approach of December and as 2024 winds down, the game titled “Synduality: Echo of Ada” is expected to be one of the standout debuts in the new year. Set to premiere in January 2025, Bandai Namco has announced an open network trial from December 12th through December 20th (extended to the 22nd for those who have pre-ordered).
A new old-school-style animation video is available, outlining the core gameplay loop. As the pilot of a Cradlecoffin, players venture to the irradiated surface in a post-apocalyptic world to mine AO Crystals with the guidance of their Magus. Extracting with said crystals allows for exchanging them for cash.
In keeping with traditional shooter style games, death results in losing all items carried and starting over empty-handed. After taking player feedback from previous tests this year, it will certainly be intriguing to discover the enhancements and fresh additions that Bandai Namco has incorporated for the forthcoming network trial.
On January 16th, 2025, the game “Synduality: Echo of Ada” will be made available for pre-order Deluxe Edition owners on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with general release following on January 23rd.
