As an ardent fan of Soulslikes and side-scrolling action RPGs, I must say the delay of “Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter” from its original launch window to February next year is certainly a blow to my eager anticipation. However, the new trailer unveiled at Xbox’s Gamescom livestream has somewhat soothed my nerves with tantalizing glimpses of diverse locations, formidable enemies, and captivating combat sequences.
Earlier this year, Odd Bug Studios and publishing partner United Label unveiled “Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter,” a Soulslike side-scrolling action RPG. Initially scheduled for release in 2024, the game developers have now shared that it will not meet its previously announced launch window.
During Xbox’s Gamescom livestream on day 3, it was revealed that the release date for “Tails of Iron 2” has been pushed back, now slated to drop in February of next year without a specific date given. The unveiled trailer also offered a glimpse of fresh gameplay content, displaying various locations, types of adversaries, glimpses of battle scenes, and additional features.
