As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the announcement of “Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter” has sent a shiver of excitement down my spine. Having spent countless hours in the original game, I am thrilled to return to the Ratdom next year. The delay was indeed a bitter pill to swallow, but the prospect of new biomes, elemental effects, and monster hunting is more than enough to make me forget about it. Not to mention the addition of Doug Cockle’s narration, who, if you don’t know, gave us one of the most iconic voices in video games with his portrayal of Geralt of Rivia.
Initially postponed from this year to February 2025, United Label has now confirmed that the game Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter is set to release on January 28th, 2025. The game will be playable on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Both Standard and Deluxe Editions will be available for purchase.
Instead of that, consider this version: The first one sells for $24.99, whereas the second one is priced at $29.99 and comes with the Augur of the Draugr and Hair to the Throne Packs. Combined, they provide new helms, axes, shields, pauldrons, armor sets, as well as six beards and hairstyles to personalize Arlo, the main character.
As an ardent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the sequel to last year’s action RPG, titled Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, is on its way! The renowned voice actor Doug Cockle, known for his work in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will once again lend his voice to this exciting journey. This new installment promises to maintain the visceral combat we loved from the first game, while introducing six fresh biomes, incorporating elemental effects into combat, offering monster hunting opportunities, and implementing a dynamic day/night system. Keep an eye out for more gameplay details, and don’t forget to revisit the previous trailer here.
