Being a big Swift fan, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end eagerly attended the concert, hoping to gift Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet engraved with his number. Unfortunately, his attempt to throw the gesture was hindered by her pre-performance routines.
As an ardent admirer, I felt quite let down during her performances because she chooses to preserve her vocal prowess for the 44 magnificent songs she sings. Consequently, on that particular episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Travis admitted feeling a tad crestfallen, as he didn’t get the chance to present one of my handcrafted bracelets to her afterward.
Following his on-stage blunder, which Travis would later refer to as “purely metal,” Travis bravely asked the Grammy award-winner out for a game, extending an invitation to watch the Chiefs play live at Arrowhead Stadium.
He mentioned on The Pat McAfee Show that he had made an offer and passed the responsibility to her. He said, “I suggested you try it out, I invited the ball over to your court,” implying that he proposed she perform with him at Arrowhead Stadium, adding, “I told her that I’ve seen you shine on stage here, so now it’s up to you to come see me light up this stage and let’s see who does it better.” So, we’ll find out what happens in the coming days.
Travis had grown a mustache, which he started sporting in August at the training camp, when he initially met Taylor for the first time.
Later on, he remarked about that period, “For a while, that mustache and the number 87 were quite legendary, and I wore them when I first encountered Taylor.
