As summer 2024 winds down, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story is heating up more than ever.
Over the past few days, the pair has been spotted in various public outings around New York City, with their latest being at this year’s US Open held in 2024.
14th day of the tennis tournament on September 8, a Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs star were caught on camera showing affection during the U.S. player Taylor Fritz versus Italy’s Jannik Sinner men’s singles final match. In the stands, Travis was spotted giving Taylor a loving peck on the head while they watched the game together.
At the gathering held at STA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y., the artist famous for “Cruel Summer” donned a retro-inspired red gingham sundress and thick sandals. Meanwhile, Travis was dressed in a white Gucci cardigan, complete with a collar, shorts, and a hat featuring alternating red and green stripes, as well as brown footwear.
The couple was joined by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany Mahomes.
Last evening, I ventured out for a romantic dinner on a special occasion – the wedding of Karen Elson and Lee Foster, held in another part of New York City.
Taylor donned a sleeveless, ivory dress featuring a floral print from Zimmermann’s Halliday Scallop midi line, which had cutouts, along with blush-colored strappy Christian Louboutin sandals. She accessorized with her signature red lipstick and a pale blue jacquard bag by Vivienne Westwood. Meanwhile, Travis opted for a black button-down shirt, pants, and footwear, all of the same color.
On September 6th, my partner and I savored an exceptional dinner experience at a bustling city pizza parlor. Our latest excursions signify our highest-profile public engagements since we embarked on this journey together last summer.
After the Chiefs won their season opener against the Baltimore Ravens at K.C.’s Arrowhead Stadium, Taylor and Travis quickly departed for New York City. There, Taylor enthusiastically supported Travis and his team.
Last season, she managed to attend most of the star tight end’s games, and was present to cheer them on during their Super Bowl win in February. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s romantic journey commenced in July 2023, as Taylor’s Eras Tour happened to make a visit at Arrowhead Stadium, located in Kansas City, Missouri.
As a die-hard Taylor Swift fan and an ardent Kansas City Chiefs tight end, I couldn’t resist the chance to meet her backstage. Eagerly, I attended the show with dreams of gifting her a friendship bracelet embellished with my number. Unfortunately, due to her pre-performance routines, I missed the opportunity to make that special connection.
Travis expressed that he felt let down since she doesn’t engage in conversation before or after her performances as she needs to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she sings. He further mentioned that it bummed him out because he couldn’t give her one of the bracelets he had made for her, during the July 26th episode of his New Heights podcast.
Following his on-field mishap, which Travis himself called “as cold as steel,” he mustered up courage and extended an invitation to the Grammy-winning artist, asking him to witness the Chiefs compete live at Arrowhead Stadium.
He expressed on The Pat McAfee Show that he had made an invitation, essentially tossing the challenge over. He said, “I’ve hinted at it like this: ‘You’ve killed it on our stage in Arrowhead, now it’s your turn to come see me do the same and let’s see who can light it up better.'” So, keep an eye out for what unfolds in the upcoming days.
At the time when Travis was initially presented to Taylor, he was already sporting a mustache that he had grown since August during his training camp.
Later on, he commented about that period, “For a while, that mustache and number 87 were quite iconic, and I wore them when I first encountered Taylor.
According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, by early September, Travis and Taylor had been exchanging occasional texts and conversations.

It’s another hint that Travis might be “The 1”, as Taylor has been growing close to Brittany Mahomes – the spouse of Travis’ best friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes, both on and off the football field during NFL matches.
In an unexpected turn of events, I found myself taking my romance to the small screen on the October 14th episode of Saturday Night Live. This New York City adventure didn’t stop there; we also celebrated the after-party for NBC’s sketch show and enjoyed a romantic evening at the Waverly Inn.
During a week without a game, Travis decided to journey to Argentina to attend the South American leg of Taylor’s Eras Tour. Not only did the NFL player get closer to Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, at the November 11th concert in Buenos Aires, but he also received a special recognition from the stage.
“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”
Following the performance, the artist from Midnights could be spotted rushing towards Travis backstage for an affectionate kiss.
Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.
She informed Time magazine, “I’m going to watch him pursue his passion, we’re there for each other, others are present and we don’t mind. In contrast, it takes a lot of work to keep our relationship hidden, ensuring nobody discovers we’re together.
Travis’ December 17th game became a family event, with the music icon inviting her father to support her partner.
On New Year’s Eve for the very first time, Taylor and Travis celebrated together, exchanging a tender kiss as the clock hit midnight on January 1st.
Taylor continued strengthening ties with Travis’ kin, spending time with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce during the Chiefs’ match against the Buffalo Bills.
On the football field where the Chiefs secured their triumph in the AFC Championship, Taylor linked up with Travis. This win ensured the team’s place in the 2024 Super Bowl. Afterward, they locked lips in jubilation and exchanged feelings of love.
“Tay, I’m gonna enjoy with the guys,” he told her. “I love you—so much it’s not funny.”
On February 11, 2024, the victorious Kansas City Chiefs’ teammates shared a kiss on the field in Las Vegas, following Travis’s leadership.
On February 12th, Taylor shared a video clip of Travis on social media for the very first time. In the caption, she playfully teased about their post-Super Bowl adventure, where they took her parents clubbing together.
Taylor first Instagram post with Travis showed a selfie taken during their time together behind the scenes at Wembley Stadium in London, during one of Taylor’s Eras tour shows. They were joined by Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton’s eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
At the seventh Eras tour concert he attended in London’s Wembley Stadium, and being his second time there, the NFL player performed alongside his girlfriend during her rendition of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” on stage.
Taylor attended the first regular game of the 2024-25 season with Travis, and a picture posted by Chariah Gordon shows them seeming to recreate a public display of affection (PDA) similar to one they had in October 2023. Chariah Gordon is seen in this photo along with her boyfriend, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman.
They were present at the wedding of Karen Elson, who tied the knot with Lee Foster, the proprietor of Electric Lady Studios, that took place in the bustling city of New York.
The next day, the pair attended the men’s singles final match at the U.S. Open.
