Taylor Swift's Alleged Stalker Arrested After Travis Kelce Threats

As a dedicated follower of Taylor Swift’s career and someone who has kept track of her life experiences, I cannot help but feel deeply concerned for her safety yet again. It is truly disheartening to read about yet another instance of stalking that she has had to endure, this time during her Eras Tour in Germany. The fact that an individual made threats against her and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and was arrested upon entry to the stadium is a chilling reminder of the dangers that come with fame.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are shaking off this scary situation.

As a dedicated fan of Taylor Swift, I was eagerly awaiting her Eras Tour concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on July 17. However, just before the event, an alarming situation unfolded. I, myself, had not been involved, but authorities reported to the Associated Press that an American man, who had allegedly made threatening comments against Taylor and her boyfriend, a Kansas City Chiefs player, on social media, was arrested prior to the concert.

A 34-year-old man, whose identity wasn’t disclosed, held a ticket for Taylor’s July 17 performance at Veltins-Arena. He was apprehended upon arrival at the stadium. According to officials, they couldn’t assess potential danger during their preliminary examination. The Associated Press received information from the police that the man was taken into custody “based on warnings from the event organizers.”

The man was ordered by a court in the city to stay in custody throughout Swift’s residency for her Eras Tour, which lasted from July 17 to July 19. He will be released on July 20. It’s important to note that there was no threat to Swift, Kelce, or the 60,000 attendees during Swift’s July 17 performance. Swift performed in the German city on July 18 and gave her final concert on July 19.

Regrettably, Swift has been subjected to another instance of stalking in the past few months, following an incident involving a man named David Crowe. In the beginning of the year, this individual was taken into custody twice in quick succession for harassing the Miss Americana star outside her New York City home.

According to a report by the New York Times, Swift’s security contacted the police on January 20th after noticing Crowe hanging around outside her apartment. As a result, he was taken into custody due to outstanding warrants related to missed court appearances regarding past minor offenses. After being freed on bail, Crowe went back to Swift’s residence in New York on the 22nd of January and was arrested once more, facing charges for harassment and stalking.

A month after Crowe’s case was brought up, it was dropped due to him being declared unfit for trial on account of mental instability. Consequently, he was moved from Rikers Island prison to a New York state hospital for psychiatric care. Manhattan prosecutors and his legal representative confirmed the dismissal of charges to the New York Post.

Previously, Swift has shared that her renowned status brings on apprehensions about potential harm for her.

In a 2019 essay for Elle, Swift expressed that her apprehension towards violence hasn’t only stayed with her professionally but has also affected her personal life. She carries military-grade bandage dressing, intended for gunshot or stab wounds, as a precaution. Sadly, the internet and tabloids have made public every residence I’ve ever had, resulting in numerous stalkers attempting to break into my homes. Consequently, one must prepare for potential dangers.

We’ve attempted to contact Swift, Kelce, and the authorities in Gelsenkirchen through TopMob News, but have not received any response as of now.
