Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had a relationship with Taylor Swift over a decade back, has announced his engagement to his long-term girlfriend, Brazilian singer Giulia Be, after two years together.
In a joint Instagram post on August 13th, they shared some delightful pictures from their memorable moment, accompanied by the words, “An effortless ‘yes’ for all times!”
In one picture from the post, Conor, 30, and Giulia, 25, sport the biggest smiles as they wrap their arms around each other. And the pair even show off just how special the moment was for them in a video, which sees them surrounded by candles as they embrace, kiss each other and dance around.
In the video, Giulia exclaims, “I can hardly believe it! It feels like a dream. I’m overjoyed. I’m so thrilled.”
To which Conor replies, “I love you so much, my potato.”
Additionally, the video offers a peek into their proposal plan, as revealed by Giulia, which unexpectedly took place on an ordinary day.
“She was delighted, finding it charming that we were both sweaty and tired from work, a bit grubby and unkempt. To her, it was just right. She adores you deeply.”
Later, Giulia showed off her gold banded diamond for the camera, waving it and exclaiming, “Wooo!”
In one of their latest achievements, the couple proudly displayed another significant symbol – matching tattoos – in one of their posts. The pictures showcased intricate doodles: hearts pierced by swords, with Conor showing off his black ink version and Giulia sporting a red one.
Of course, Conor (son of the late Mary Kennedy) and Giulia’s relatives, who are part of the extended Kennedy family, expressed their joy in the comments section unabashedly.
Conor’s stepmom Cheryl Hines—who married RFK Jr. in 2014—was quick to offer a sweet note.

During this time, Taylor was in a six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn and had a brief fling with Matty Healy. Later on, she met her current boyfriend from the Chiefs.
To put it simply, Taylor and Conor are not going to rekindle their relationship because they’re currently in a happy state. However, from this relationship, Taylor managed to create an excellent song – the track “Starlight” off her album “Red,” which was inspired by Ethel Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, rather than directly from Conor.
