Former “Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham is readying her 15-year-old daughter, Sophia Abraham, for an upcoming milestone – obtaining her driving license.
33-year-old Sophia’s mother, previously in a relationship with Derek Underwood, is currently teaching her one and only child to drive at home, occasionally posting video clips of these lessons on Instagram.
“Farrah confidently stated in a recent video that Sophia is capable of it. She then wondered if her daughter was prepared for learning to drive with parental guidance.”
Farrah also shared that Sophia has been car shopping for her new ride in an Aug. 17 Instagram pic.
Sophia, sporting a unique mix of half purple and half black hair, adorned with facial jewelry and dark lipstick, was brimming with humor of her own.
Whenever Farrah inquired about what could potentially divert attention inside the vehicle, I couldn’t help but cheekily retort, “Well, it seems like only one person comes to mind – me!”
As a lifestyle expert, I can certainly empathize with a teenager’s eagerness to obtain their driver’s license. For me, it was always about the freedom and independence that came with it. In this particular case, Sophia has a unique destination in mind once she gets her hands on that license: Petco, to be precise. Her goal? To acquire some mice for her beloved snakes. Quite an adventurous first trip, wouldn’t you agree?
Previously, the ex-MTV star encountered legal issues due to an incident involving her driving. Specifically, in 2013, Farrah was apprehended for a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) in Omaha, Nebraska when she was just 20 years old. Upon being tested at the scene, her breathalyzer results exceeded the legal limit. However, she publicly disputed these charges on Twitter at that time.
She expressed, “What people believe and make up never ceases to amaze me!” She added the hashtags “#Grateful #God #Blessed #Successful” and “#NoDramaForMe,” ending with a cheerful, “Have a wonderful day!”
Six months after the incident, Farrah admitted guilt for driving under the influence and was mandated to complete a court-ordered program lasting six months. This program encompassed alcohol education courses, and as a result, her driving license was suspended for two months (60 days).
Following her first TV appearance on “16 and Pregnant,” Farrah continued her television career by featuring on “Teen Mom,” sharing her experiences as a mother to Sophia.
On the Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast in April, Farrah remarked that she and her daughter make a great team, expressing that they have essentially grown up side by side.
