Ryan Edwards is taking accountability.
On the April 17th episode of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,” a 37-year-old individual had an open discussion with his ex, Maci Bookout’s 16-year-old son Bentley, after a prolonged period of separation caused by the man’s addiction issues.
For a long time, Ryan had been going through a tough period, which he shared with his son during an emotional conversation. He explained that for some time, his partner hadn’t wanted to be with him, and this had upset him greatly. However, he no longer holds her responsible for those feelings.
Previously in the show, Maci, who is the mother of Jayde, 9, and Maverick, 8, with her husband Taylor McKinney, disclosed that their latest visit to Ryan and his fiancée Amanda Conner’s residence was the first instance where she and her 16-year-old son felt content with the arrangement.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Ryan, who has a baby girl in common with Amanda, as well as two older children, Jagger (10) and Stella (5), from his past relationship with Mackenzie Standife, expressed feelings of resentment towards Maci, aged 33, for restricting Bentley’s contact during Ryan’s struggles with addiction. However, he is content with the current state of his relationship with his son Bentley.
16 years have passed, and yet we find ourselves here. Allow me to express my regrets for the delay, but I assure you, things are more favorable than they’ve ever been. I would be delighted if you could visit any time that suits you best.
As he put it, “I know we ain’t been able to, but I would enjoy that.”
The mechanic underlined his determination to improve his bond with his son by working on personal growth, expressing, “I wasn’t always present when you needed me, but I’m trying to demonstrate that things are changing now.
At the end of the heartfelt moment, Bentley and Ryan exchanged “I love you.”
Ryan’s heartfelt apology to his son emerged just under a year since Maci, aged 33, explained their journey towards a more harmonious co-parenting arrangement with him.
She shared with TopMob News last June that each one of us has put in an enormous amount of effort. We’ve been focusing primarily on our own growth, and as a result, everything is falling into place quite organically.

Back in 2009, viewers followed Catelynn Lowell and her now-spouse Tyler Baltierra as they faced a challenging decision – giving their firstborn daughter, Carly, up for adoption – during the premiere of “16 and Pregnant”. Fast forward to 2015, after 13 years together, this beloved couple tied the knot in August and have since welcomed three more daughters: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.
Despite the lingering sorrow from Carly’s absence, who resides with her adopted parents Brandon and Teresa Davis, the couple persistently strive towards a hopeful future.
Catelynn shared with TopMob News in January 2025 that their bond is whatever the adoptee desires: “Whether she wants a relationship with her biological siblings, or just us, fantastic. If she prefers not to, we get it completely. It’s all about what works best for her, as it should be focused on the adoptee.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Just about half a year into our relationship, Maci Bookout found herself navigating turbulent waters with an unreliable partner, Ryan Edwards, on the reality show ’16 and Pregnant’. Despite getting engaged, our high school sweethearts parted ways less than a year after welcoming their son Bentley into the world in 2008.
Currently, they are making an effort to establish a collaborative parenting partnership. In 2023, Maci disclosed this to TopMob News, stating that Ryan has become more regular in his presence than perhaps he ever was previously.
In the year 2012, Maci came across her lifelong partner, Taylor McKinney from Texas. From thereon, they started expanding their team, and together they progressed. They became parents to daughter Jayde in May of 2015, and a son named Maverick arrived the following year. Their nuptials took place in Florida in October of the same year.
In 2023, she shared with TopMob News that her life partner is more than just a spouse; they are partners in parenthood and business through their TTM Lifestyle fashion brand. When asked about their relationship, she said, “He’s simply my preferred choice.” Despite facing challenging years together, she declared, “Ultimately, I still prefer him. I enjoy being with him, and though there are moments when I feel like I want to throw a punch, I’d rather fight with him or experience a difficult phase with him than never have a hard time with anyone else.
Regardless of having new partners, the MTV celebrities, who bonded during The Challenge, still share parental responsibilities for their child named Ryder.
Cheyenne shared with TopMob News in March 2020 that from day one of Cory entering Ryder’s life, the most important aspect for both of them was their approach to parenthood. Cheyenne didn’t want him to be a father who only showed up at fun moments or for social media, but someone fully committed. She expressed that he understood her dedication and adopted a similar mindset, which is why they work so well as co-parents.
Following the conclusion of their romance in 2018, they opted to rekindle their relationship. Cheyenne announced on Instagram during her 28th birthday celebration that they were back together. In May 2021, they became parents for the first time, welcoming son Ace into their family, and later got married in September 2022.
In an interview with TopMob News back in 2024, Cheyenne said, “For the last two years, we’ve been crossing items off our list. Our dream was to have a baby and we welcomed Ace into our family. We wished for marriage and had our wedding ceremony. And finally, we desired to buy a house, and now we own our home.
Now, she went on to say, “I have no desire for action or setting new goals. Instead, I yearn for tranquility, a state of rest. My aim is simple: to find contentment in our current situation and cherish each other. That’s all I seek – nothing more.
Establishing a bond during filming for ‘Ex on the Beach’ might not initially seem like the beginning of a romantic tale, but fast forward a few years and two children – daughters named Mila and Maya – later, Cory and former ‘Are You the One?’ contestant Taylor Selfridge are still leaving an impact.
In 2023, he revealed to TopMob News that he had recently purchased a new home. He also mentioned that questions about their wedding were common, to which he responded, “We are indeed discussing it. The only things missing are the ring and me proposing to her. Taylor truly deserves this moment, and it’s something we both aspire to. For now, we’re focusing on making the necessary preparations.
After marrying Mackenzie Standifer in May 2017, Ryan sought help at a rehab facility shortly afterwards. Their first son, Jagger, was born in 2018, during the time when Ryan was still undergoing treatment.
In January 2020, the couple happily welcomed a daughter named Stella into their family. However, Mackenzie initiated a divorce proceedings three years after that. Currently, Ryan is betrothed to Amanda Conner, and they are anticipating their first child together.
Despite ending their tumultuous relationship permanently in 2013, the pair successfully shared parenting responsibilities for their now-adolescent child Leah over a number of years.
In an interview with TopMob News in January 2022, Amber shared that we enjoy each other’s company from afar, but our bond remains strong. She further explained that our relationship feels like a family and we prioritize it above all else, treating it more as a family unit than anything else.
It’s true that families can have disagreements at times. Lately, Amber has been posting on social media statements that imply her relationship with Gary may not be as amicable as it once was.
Over the course of several years, Matt Baier, who hails from Boston, and I found ourselves in a committed relationship. We took a significant step forward by getting engaged, but unfortunately, our journey together didn’t quite work out as planned, even after attempting to strengthen it on ‘Marriage Boot Camp’. In 2017, we made the difficult decision to end our engagement.
On Dr. Drew Pinsky’s podcast, Amber admitted that at some point, she grew tired of listening and simply stopped caring in her relationship. She believes this was when things began to change for both her and him. Essentially, she built a wall around herself to avoid getting hurt again.
During her time filming “Marriage Boot Camp”, Amber developed feelings for crew member Andrew Glennon. They became a public item at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards, and in May 2018, they welcomed their first child, James, into their family.
However, shortly following Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019, the couple chose to part ways. After a challenging legal dispute, it was determined in 2022 that California-born Andrew would be granted sole legal and primary physical custody of their child.
The “Teen Mom” celebrity shared with TopMob News that they’ve put in a tremendous effort to grow personally and strengthen their bond with their children. They emphasized that everyone deserves a second chance, and while they’ve been open about their past drug issues and mental health challenges, it’s important not to be defined solely by past struggles but rather given the opportunity to move beyond them.
With unwavering resolve, she reassured, “Even if your path hasn’t been smooth-sailing, yet you’ve strived tirelessly to transform into a better, stronger, and more compassionate individual today, let’s continue our journey together. I stand firm in my battle for the children who mean the world to me.
Ever since I crossed paths with Amber online, I found myself drawn into her world. And then, in April 2020, I made my debut on Teen Mom OG – a moment that felt surreal! As Amber shared on the show, “Dimitri is from Belgium and he’s 39, which makes him 10 years older than me. But let me tell you, he’s quite the looker!” The more I interacted with her, the more my feelings deepened, and we both agreed it was time to meet each other since there was a mutual connection between us.
In April 2021, during the reunion special of Teen Mom OG, Amber disclosed that she was still in a relationship with Dimitri. “We’ve been acquainted for approximately 18 months,” she clarified. “However, I haven’t met him face-to-face for an entire year.” Despite not making an official breakup announcement, Amber later introduced Gary Wayt as her new partner in a June 2024 episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
Following Amber’s introduction of Gary 2.0 through a dating app in autumn 2023, he made an appearance on the screen when she presented him to her fellow ‘Teen Mom’ acquaintances during a remote conversation.
Despite his proposal in May 2024, their relationship didn’t last long. During his visit to North Carolina for Amber’s brother’s wedding in June, they had a disagreement which led Gary to leave suddenly, causing Amber to file a missing persons report.
And while Gary was soon located, the duo’s engagment wasn’t the only thing left broken.
Amber shared, on ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’, that she spent three to four days believing her fiancé was deceased. She described the struggle of mourning and trying to comprehend such a cruel act, expressing her current emotional turmoil as she goes through this difficult experience.
She went on to say, “This man shattered me. Previously, I had been steady and secure. But for the first time in years, I’m not feeling quite myself, because a man proposed to me with a ring.
Several months following the birth of their daughter Emilee in April 2015, Gary and his spouse Kristina Anderson exchanged vows in a charming seaside wedding ceremony.
In a 2022 Instagram post, Gary expressed, “Your soul is exceptionally beautiful, one of the finest I’ve encountered. I can’t imagine navigating life without your presence by my side.
In December 2008, exactly two months before Sophia was born, the man who was Farrah Abraham’s daughter’s father tragically passed away due to an accident.
In a significant romantic development following the demise of her high school sweetheart, Farrah was involved with realtor Simon Saran, on-again, off-again, for more than two years.
Despite their 2017 breakup becoming quite contentious, they made an effort to maintain some semblance of friendship, albeit not without its challenges.
Simon shared with TopMob News that he holds no ill will towards Farrah. He explained that they come from distinct spheres; she prefers the artificial lifestyle, while he seeks authenticity. He expressed his hopes for her continued prosperity and success in all her upcoming ventures.
Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis, who are Jace’s parents, parted ways soon after he was born in 2009. Unfortunately, Jenelle has had minimal interaction in her son’s life since then.
In the 2019 episode of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle pondered her feelings, acknowledging that Jace’s father is someone she knows well. However, she expressed concerns about him potentially letting down her son by reappearing only to disappear again.
In 2014, Jenelle gave birth to her second child, Kaiser, with former boyfriend Nathan Griffin. Previously, she had been married to Courtland Rogers for a year. Fast forward to September 2017, eight months after the birth of their daughter Ensley, Jenelle tied the knot with David Eason on their North Carolina estate.
Following a difficult period, David was accused of a minor child abuse offense concerning Jace. Jenelle described this as a smear campaign against him at the time. Later, she disclosed that they had parted ways. She mentioned on social media that, due to North Carolina’s laws, she couldn’t immediately file for divorce because they needed to be legally separated for a year and prove they lived apart in separate addresses.
As a lifestyle guide, I’d like to remind you of the gentleman who once posed the question to his then-partner, Chelsea Houska, about when he could officially relinquish control – in other words, sign the documents symbolizing their shared past.
Completely in the rearview.
Despite the long history and different paths taken, the former Teen Mom star-turned-HGTV personality maintains an amicable bond with her high school ex, Adam Lind, who is Aubree’s dad. As she shared with Us Weekly, “There are no negative vibes; it’s a very open relationship.” She added, “There are no lingering bad feelings. We occasionally meet up and everything goes smoothly.
Back in 2014, fate brought me face-to-face with my future husband Cole DeBoer at a gas station. Our connection deepened, and in October 2016, we exchanged vows and started our forever journey together. Since then, we’ve expanded our family with the birth of our son Watson in 2017, followed by daughters Layne in 2018 and Walker in 2021. Now, as a team, we’re diving into an exciting new venture – our HGTV series Down Home Fab.
Speaking with TopMob News, Chelsea expressed her desire for their potential return to TV to be a positive, entertaining experience, where they could truly be themselves. She noted that this decision felt incredibly fitting, describing it as an exciting chance to express themselves authentically.
Initially, high school student Leah Messer and Corey Simms endeavored to transform their friendship into a lifelong union, but the parents of teenage twins Aleeah and Aliannah chose to file for divorce just six months following their October 2010 marriage ceremony.
Corey has been married to Miranda Patterson since 2013.
In 2012, I was privileged to tie the knot with my partner, Jeremy Calvert. A year later, we were blessed with our beautiful daughter, Adalynn.
Here’s another way:
Being in love with Jeremy Calvert, I walked down the aisle in 2012 and became his wife. The following year, our family expanded with the arrival of our cherished daughter, Adalynn.
Despite parting ways in 2015, they have consistently strived to share parental responsibilities for their daughter, with outcomes that can occasionally be challenging. As Leah shared with TopMob News, she feels she is becoming an improved version of herself, and finding joy in witnessing her daughters’ passions and supporting them in life is enchanting. “I love it,” she expressed, “I love being a mom, particularly a mother to girls.
By 2021, when Leah publicly confirmed her relationship with Jaylan Mobley on Instagram, he had already won over not only Leah but also her children, as evidenced by the charm he exuded.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2022, but broke up that October.
A year after the event, the “Teen Mom” celebrity admitted to TopMob News that they needed the breakup. They shared that they had gained a great deal of insight from their past separation, and going forward, they feel as though a new chapter in their life is unfolding.
Back in the year 2010, Kailyn Lowry was only 17 years old when she and her high school sweetheart, Jo Rivera, became parents to their first-born child, Isaac.
Despite parting ways a year later, they now share a smooth co-parenting experience. Interestingly, Kailyn teamed up with Vee Torres, Jo’s spouse, on her canceled Baby Mamas No Drama podcast post-split. Reflecting back, Kailyn penned on social media after attending Jo and Vee’s 2018 wedding, “We’ve come a long way since we were 18. I couldn’t ask for a better stepmom for Isaac.
In November 2013, Kailyn’s second child, Lincoln, became part of the team. This was approximately a year following her wedding to his father, Javi Marroquin, who was then prominently featured on the TV show Teen Mom 2.
In late 2016, the relationship between Javi and his fiancée Lauren Comeau, who are already parents to a son named Eli, had its ups and downs. However, in December 2023, they announced that they were expecting their second child together, this time a girl.
During their relationship that occasionally came and went, Kailyn gave birth to sons Lux and Creed alongside partner Chris Lopez. However, ultimately, they decided to part ways permanently.
She shared with TopMob News in 2020 that currently, there’s no communication between us at all. I’m crossing my fingers that things improve over time, but I don’t have any grand plans. I don’t want to speak ill of the situation. My hope is that for our children, everything resolves itself in whatever way it may, eventually.
Kailyn is content with her current partner, Elijah Scott, as she feels they have established a solid base. She expressed to People that Elijah, father to her son Rio and twins Verse and Valley, is unlike any of her previous partners or the children’s fathers. “He works with concrete, getting his hands dirty on the job, yet he’s also an involved family man,” she said. “He’s close-knit with his own family and ours, making him a fantastic partner for me. I believe we make a great match.
A strong enough one that she finally said yes to one of his many proposals, in fact.
In an interview with TopMob News in September 2024, Kailyn made it clear that her neighbor-turned-life partner had asked for her hand in marriage multiple times, and she never explicitly refused him. Instead, she explained, “I would say ‘Yes,’ but not immediately.
And while she admitted that the construction worker had indeed influenced her perspective on marriage, Kailyn wasn’t in any hurry to start wedding planning right away. With a laugh, she added, “Whether or not we tie the knot depends on the mood I’m in when you ask me.
Despite experiencing numerous highs and lows since the birth of their daughter Kloie in 2017, Indiana residents Jade Cline and Sean Austin hinted to followers in January 2022 that things were looking up for them.
Significant events and advancements occurred in our lives, and Sean’s life too, with positive changes in his future,” she shared with TopMob News. “I am incredibly proud of him and where we stand now.” Eight months after this statement, the couple revealed their engagement, getting married in October 2023.
In 2024, Jade admitted to TopMob News that her relationship isn’t flawless all the time. However, she emphasized that they have a deep affection for one another and manage to keep things going despite its imperfections.
Ashley Jones, a native of California, and fellow Californian Bar Smith secretly tied the knot in the year 2021 – four years following the birth of their daughter, Holly.
But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024.
In the years following Briana DeJesus’ appearance on “16 and Pregnant” and the birth of their daughter Nova in 2011, there were indications that she and Devoin Austin II might rekindle their relationship.
Nowadays, as reported by TopMob News in 2024, Briana expressed, “I’m seeking a real man, not the young men I’ve become accustomed to dating in the past.
Following her appearance on the one-season show “Teen Mom 3”, Briana moved on to become a part of “Teen Mom 2” during its eighth season. In July 2017, she welcomed her second daughter, Stella, with her former partner, Luis Miguel.
Ever since then, Luis’ participation has been minimal at most. During a Teen Mom 2 episode in December 2019, Briana shared with Dr. Drew, “It seems like he desires a family with me, but since I’m not offering that, he prefers to keep his distance entirely.
