As a gamer with a soft spot for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise and a knack for digging into the lore of my favorite games, I can’t help but feel like I’ve stumbled upon a hidden sewer lair filled with pure nostalgia and exciting new content. The Radical Reptiles DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has me absolutely turtle-y excited!
Over two years have passed since the debut of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,” and this classic game continues to expand with fresh content. Today, the developers at TributeGames unveiled an exciting surprise for fans in the form of the DLC called “Radical Reptiles.” This expansion will introduce two new playable characters: Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko to the game roster. As of now, the price for this DLC remains undisclosed, but it’s set to release today, so we won’t have long to learn more! Additionally, all players can look forward to a complimentary update that features remixed music tracks from talented guest artists such as Jake Kaufman, Tomoya Tomita, Sean Bialo, Button Masher, Keiji Yamagishi, and Anamanaguchi.

As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to announce that the Radical Reptiles DLC for Shredder’s Revenge will grace all major platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC! From the electrifying trailer, it’s evident that Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko have unique moves that truly set them apart.
During an interview with Prankster101 Productions in March, TributeGames narrative designer Yannick Belzil suggested that additional content for Shredder’s Revenge, such as DLC or a sequel, is unlikely at this time. Belzil mentioned that any extra material would hinge on the success of both the main game and its DLC. It’s possible that Belzil was being secretive or that the DLC was developed rapidly over the past few months. Regardless, it’s exciting to see new content for a game that was already excellent. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enthusiasts have had various video game choices recently, but Shredder’s Revenge continues to stand out as one of the best.
