At EVO Japan 2025, Bandai Namco unveiled some upcoming changes for its main fighting title, Tekken 8. Towards the end of the trailer, they introduced the next DLC character – Fahkumram. You can watch it here, but there was no gameplay footage shown.
Introduced in 2020’s Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, Fahkumram is a Muay Thai warrior primarily using knee and elbow attacks. His past involves being compelled to fight for the military, but his role in the ongoing conflict remains unclear due to surprises like Heihachi Mishima’s return.
This summer sees the return of Fahkumram, being the second fighter coming back this season. The following one will be launched in autumn, with a fresh character and stage arriving in winter. Keep an eye out for further updates.
Tekken 8 can be played on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. Upon its release, it was praised by critics and has sold over three million copies up until February 2025. However, the recent update sparked controversy due to numerous balance adjustments, leading the developers to express apologies and commit to making more improvements.
