The Tekken 8 Patch v2.02 is here, and with it some actually good changes for once!
Bandai Namco’s 3d fighter has been a bit shakey ever since their big Season 2 disaster.
But after firing the QA team and getting new ones they have been making tweaks for the better.

Initially, it’s worth noting that significant adjustments in Tekken 8 Patch v2.02, particularly gameplay-wise, focus on Heat tracking. To put it simply, numerous characters’ Heat tracking abilities have been lessened to prevent a second hit from occurring. Here you’ll find the Patch Notes.
In earlier versions, characters who missed their initial Heat hit might succeed on the second attempt. However, this is now less probable for the first connection. Furthermore, the Heat Dash has been adjusted to prevent dashing towards the opposite direction.
However, the duration of energy usage has risen for numerous power-crushing heat maneuvers. Consequently, adopting a defensive strategy in Heat becomes more feasible.
For the upcoming revision, it is indicated that the Rage Art frame advantage will be altered. This adjustment seems intended to make Rage Arts easier to counter, since at present, if blocked, they usually only put you slightly ahead (+13).
Overall, Mishamas as a whole got nerfed with reduced tracking and more heat consumption.
In the latest update of Tekken 8, version 2.02, I’m grateful for the adjustments made to many characters, particularly Feng and Anna. Anna, in particular, has seen some changes. Her heat duration has been reduced, and her tracking and Chas judgment have been fine-tuned to make her a bit more manageable.

In the meantime, it turns out that both Lee and Zafina have received enhancements. Lee now deals more damage and has a longer recovery period. However, Zafina’s changes are somewhat peculiar; she now consumes less health and has an extended duration for Heat.
Additionally, numerous adjustments made by Lars have eliminated the “crush” feature in the process of improving his collisions. It’s refreshing to observe developers dedicating their efforts towards character refinements such as these, as both Lee and Lars have required some fine-tuning.
But is this enough?
Step In The Right Foreground
While certain positive choices were made throughout Season 2, it hasn’t entirely resolved the overall issues with the season. Some additional filler content, like extended Panel Art Ghost battles, is enjoyable but doesn’t fundamentally address the larger problems.

However, an unusual partnership between The Karate Kid and Tekken leaves me puzzled. Regardless of the rationale, I disapprove of advertisements in full-priced games. This combination simply doesn’t seem right to me. More Dragunov and other character items from the Tekken Shop may be present, but frankly, it doesn’t change my opinion.
The idea of The Karate Kid teaming up with Tekken is confusing to me because I don’t like ads in full-price games, no matter what the reason might be. Even if there are more Dragunov and other Tekken Shop items, it doesn’t make a difference to my feelings about this partnership.

1) Frankly speaking, considering the chaos, it would be reasonable to hand out that meal without charge! Additionally, Ghost Battles has introduced a new command function in Tekken 8 Patch v2.02. This update certainly enhances the excitement as all ten players seem to enjoy it more!
After defeating an opponent online, I now have the option to choose various modes from the results screen. If I’ve recently moved up in rank, I’ll notice that the points deducted for leaving ranked mode have been adjusted slightly, making it easier for me to step away if needed.
To put it simply, the Tekken 8 Patch v2.02 seems to address some concerns, but it’s not a game-changer. It’s more like a gentle tap compared to what was expected. However, it does demonstrate some effort and thought from the developers.
The upcoming modification to Rage Art frames is intriguing, but currently there’s a lot more work to be done in order to attract players back.
It would be more beneficial, and perhaps lessen fan frustration, if they were to provide the Pacman stage for free along with various shop items. Ignoring the issue at hand seems to exacerbate the anger among fans.
Let’s get straight to the point: In Heat, eliminate the cinematic aspect and make it unblockable. Furthermore, let’s make Rage Arts punishable upon block and whiff. To put it simply, given the amount of damage it inflicts, it should carry a high risk of losing the match.
Not say 40 damage at best or 50 at the wall. You miss a rage get wind god-fisted and die!
