This guide will demonstrate where to locate the elusive “Expedition Records: Temple of Sylaveth” note hidden within the dungeon depths.
Temple of Sylaveth Record Location
Initially, if you’re having trouble locating this spot, the Temple of Sylaveth is situated just northwest from Stoneguard Castle. In the course of the main quest, you should eventually reach a waypoint that leads you there. Chances are, you might already have a means to teleport directly there.
At the outset, let me reiterate that the Temple of Sylaveth is essentially an open-world dungeon. This implies it transforms into a battle zone during nighttime hours. So, I’d advise against venturing into it solo when darkness falls, as it could potentially lead to a swift and unfortunate end for you.
To avoid disturbances from aggressive players, hold off on accessing this codex entry during conflict phases. Many of them will immediately pursue you upon your entry, especially at night.
To locate the record, simply proceed to the farthest end of the initial chamber in the dungeon. Keep in mind that you’ll encounter hostile creatures as you go, so make sure you’re prepared for a battle.
At that location, there stands a substantial stone water feature – a fountain. You’ll notice an oddly luminescent symbol or marking on the ground nearby. Once the pillar is completely powered up, it vanishes, replaced instead by a mysterious figure known as a Dark Specter. If another player has summoned one and chosen not to eliminate it, you’ll be able to spot them on your minimap, represented by a red monster symbol.
