The debut of Terminator: Survivors in early access and the arrival of T-1000 in Mortal Kombat 1 has left Terminator enthusiasts eager for more in the gaming world – but there’s even more excitement brewing. A fresh game titled, Terminator 2D: No Fate, has been announced, with Reef Entertainment and Bitmap Bureau as its publisher and developer respectively.
According to what’s been revealed, “No Fate” (previously leaked) appears to be a 2D side-scrolling action game reminiscent of retro pixel art. It features various playable characters such as Sarah Connor, John Connor, and the T-800, all from the movie “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
This game offers a diverse range of opponents and powerful bosses to battle, along with numerous weapons at your disposal. Additionally, it includes an Arcade mode, an Endless mode, a Boss Rush mode, competitive high score leaderboards, and much more. For additional information, watch the trailer below.
Terminator 2D: No Escape” arrives for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 5. Interestingly, they could have released it on August 29, which is the canonical Judgment Day in the Terminator universe. A small missed opportunity to align with the franchise’s lore.
