As a horror enthusiast who’s been through countless sleepless nights thanks to the genre, I can hardly contain my excitement for Terrifier 3! Having survived the chilling massacre of the first film and the heart-pumping sequel, I’m eager to see Sienna and her brother try to find solace during the holiday season, only to have it ripped away by none other than Art the Clown.
As summer winds down and summer blockbusters become a thing of the past, we’re moving into the chilling season leading up to Halloween. From a low-budget horror film to a sequel vying for an Oscar nod, we now have the concluding chapter of a trilogy with the unveiling of the Terrifier 3 trailer.
Following the gruesome Halloween rampage by Art the Clown, Sienna and her brother are finding it tough to mend their fractured existence. As the winter holidays draw near, they aim to celebrate Christmas cheerfully and distance themselves from past horrors. However, when they believe they’ve found sanctuary, Art the Clown reappears, eager to transform their festive joy into a fresh horror story. The holiday atmosphere soon disintegrates as Art releases his dark form of terror, demonstrating that no celebration is immune.
It’s been announced that this installment in the trilogy could be the most gruesome, with actor David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown) stating that filming one particular scene left him feeling queasy.
In the upcoming film, actress Lauren LaVera from “Terrifier 2,” actors Daniel Roebuck known for “Final Destination,” Elliot Fullam also from “Terrifier 2,” Bryce Johnson famous for “Pretty Little Liars,” Samantha Scaffidi from “Terrifier,” Jason Patric recognized for “The Lost Boys,” wrestling star Chris Jericho seen in “MacGruber,” horror legend Tom Savini known for “Dawn of the Dead” and “From Dusk Till Dawn,” and genre favorite Clint Howard, who appeared in “Ice Cream Man” and “Lords of Salem,” are all part of the cast. We’re guessing that many of these actors will suffer a gruesome fate in “Terrifier 3.” The film is written and directed by Damien Leone for the third time.
Terrifier 3 is only in U.K. and Irish cinemas from 11th October 2024.
