Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Rated “Mostly Negative” on Steam Due to Connection Issues

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say I am both excited and apprehensive about the early access to Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. The allure of this open-world racing game is undeniable, but as someone who has been through countless launches and updates, I can’t help but feel a twinge of caution when I see a “Mostly Negative” rating on Steam.

For those who purchased the Gold Edition, they can already start playing Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, but it’s currently encountering some problems. At present, there are merely 115 user reviews on Steam, and of these, just 39% are favorable, resulting in a “Mostly Negative” rating

The title (game) is perpetually accessible with a variety of attributes, such as anti-cheat measures, live events, leaderboards, and so on, all integrated together. Consequently, numerous complaints have arisen concerning the difficulty in logging in because of server problems. Those who do manage to log in after multiple attempts may find themselves abruptly disconnected or unable to participate in races

KT Racing has acknowledged the problems and is taking every necessary step to resolve them promptly. In the meantime, keep an eye out for further updates

The game titled “Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown” will be released globally on September 12th, compatible with Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. A version for Nintendo Switch is also under development. For more information about the upcoming content, including a return to Ibiza from “Test Drive Unlimited 2” in December and the introduction of Clan War mode in March 2025, feel free to read our review or check out the post-launch roadmap
