As a die-hard fan of the Test Drive Unlimited series, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Nacon announced that Season 2 of Solar Crown is coming on December 11th! The prospect of exploring the iconic island of Ibiza once again, this time with an even more immersive experience, has me revving up my virtual engine.
The anticipation for a new Test Drive Unlimited game was substantial, but the series’ return earlier this year with Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown didn’t have the anticipated start that publisher Nacon and developer KT Racing had hoped for. However, the game’s post-launch strategies are progressing as planned, with its second season set to commence shortly.
Via Twitter, Nacon has revealed that Season 2 for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown begins on December 11th. Previously teased, the main expansion for this season will be a brand new open-world map, modeled as a 1:1 replica of the island of Ibiza, which was also showcased in Test Drive Unlimited 2.
Moreover, the upcoming season will introduce fresh vehicles, a solar-themed Battle Pass offering unique rewards, and higher clan advancement stages for gamers to conquer. Consequently, the initial Solar Pass is set to conclude on December 10.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC.
