Tetris Forever Developer Reveals Full Game List

As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours stacking colorful blocks and watching them disappear with that satisfying ‘click’, I can hardly contain my excitement for the imminent release of Tetris Forever! With over 15 games, including classics from the past four decades, this compilation promises to be a tetri-ific journey down memory lane.

This year, the game titled “Tetris Forever” is set to be released, featuring a collection of 15 games. Fourteen of these are timeless classics, while one is a fresh, new addition that embodies the puzzle genre. After initially revealing a few titles, Digital Eclipse has now disclosed the complete list. The original “Tetris,” launched in 1984, is among them. Take a look at the latest trailer to see the full lineup.

1988 saw the release of Tetris (48K Version) on Apple 2. This was followed by Bullet-Proof Software’s Tetris, Hatris (available on Famicom, NES, and Game Boy), Tetris 2 + Bombliss, Super Bombliss, and Super Bombliss DX. The remaining titles include Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss, Tetris Battle Gaiden, Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss Genteiban, Super Tetris 3, and Super Bombliss for the Super Famicom.

For the first time, multiple games will be released outside of Japan, and there’s a surprise in store: a new game titled “Tetris Time Warp“. This innovative game allows players to instantly switch between different periods in the series. Plus, it’s possible that Digital Eclipse could add even more games to this collection, either at its launch or later on.

The classic game Tetris will be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Personal Computers, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Keep an eye out for updates regarding the official launch date.
