As a gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the announcement of Tetris Forever for PS4 and PS5 has filled me with an unparalleled sense of nostalgia. The first time I played Tetris was on a Game Boy back in the early ’90s, and it’s been a part of my gaming journey ever since. To see such a rich compilation of classic titles, including the original 1984 version, is truly a dream come true.
Following its reveal during the recent Partner Showcase, Digital Eclipse Entertainment has officially verified that Tetris Forever will be available on both PS4 and PS5 systems as well. For a glimpse of this collection’s diverse games and documentary segments, take a look at the most recent trailer

The one-hour documentary about Tetris should be engaging too, since it showcases Alexey Pajitnov discussing the game’s background. Tetris Forever doesn’t have a confirmed launch date yet, but it’s expected to drop in 2024. Subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online can anticipate the arrival of the NES version of Tetris this upcoming Winter as well
