ARIKA has unveiled their Steam page for the game “Tetris the Grand Master 4: Absolute Eye,” offering fresh video clips, details, and images. The original announcement set its release for March’s end, but today’s update from ARIKA merely hints at a launch date labeled as “arriving soon.

Back in August of 1998, the strategic puzzle game known as “Tetris the Grand Master” made its debut in gaming arcades, quickly winning over fans due to its captivating features that kept players hooked, much like a Tetris game on steroids.
Then, Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 was released in 2000, and Tetris the Grand Master 3: Terror Instinct was released in 2005. The latest in the series, Tetris the Grand Master 4: Absolute Eye, will be available on Steam for the first time in 20 years.
In this edition, “Tetris the Grand Master 4: Absolute Eye” delivers a more tactical, strategic Tetris experience for players, catering even to seasoned gamers. The game has been enhanced with new modes, pushing your abilities to their utmost limit, demanding intricate strategy and swift gameplay.
Absolutely, there are play styles within Tetris that newcomers can easily grasp and appreciate too. Its enchanting allure makes you want to give it another try countless times.
The audio for this experience is managed by Shinji Hosoe, famed for his work on the Tetris the Grand Master series. His music, brimming with suspense and thrill, enhances the player’s focus and elevates the game’s excitement level.

Game Modes
We will introduce the game modes available in Tetris the Grand Master 4: Absolute Eye.
- Marathon – This is a traditional Tetris mode where you compete for the highest score.
- Operation Type: Standard.
- Normal – This is a traditional Tetris mode where you compete to clear lines in the fastest time.
- Operation Type: Tetris the Grand Master.
- Asuka – This mode is recommended for intermediate players. Tetriminos will drop at top speed, so place them quickly to clear lines and compete to see how high you can level up within the time limit. Additionally, Asuka Mode comes with a backstep function. By using the rewind feature, you can revert a placed Tetrimino back to the moment before it landed and try again.
- Master – This is a challenging mode designed for advanced players where all of your Tetris skills will be put to the test. Strive to level up as much as possible. Tetriminos will drop at maximum speed right from the start, so stack them carefully to clear lines. Use every technique at your disposal—like T-Spins and All Clears—to take on the challenge.
- Konoha – This mode features big blocks. Every time you achieve an All Clear, you unlock a bonus illustration. Early on, a guide will appear to help you complete All Clears, and whenever you pull one off, adorable visuals will be revealed.
- You can view all unlocked visuals in the Konoha Character Gallery. Try to unlock every character!
- Shiranui – In this mode, you’ll face off against CPU opponents. Defeat CPUs with different strategies as you aim to conquer the highest difficulty level. When you defeat a CPU, several new levels are unlocked. Generally, the higher the difficulty (Tier), the tougher the CPU. Plus, under certain conditions, a hidden difficulty may appear…!?
