The focus of the Hulu series, which detailed the alleged mistreatment she suffered at the hands of her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard (portrayed by Patricia Arquette), has spoken openly about her life since completing her prison term, which lasted eight years in relation to her mother’s 2015 murder.
Indeed, following the announcement that she and partner Ken Urker are welcoming their first child, a baby girl, she has shared insights into her pregnancy experience. Recently, she disclosed that she started sensing the baby’s movements last month.
Speaking about her current situation, the 33-year-old, who is going through a divorce with Ryan Anderson, shared some observations in her YouTube video. She has started noticing her pet’s movements and sleeping habits more, particularly at night. Her pet seems to be quite active between 9 PM and 11 PM, but appears calmer during the daytime.
Something else that she’s been experiencing? Cravings, which she said her little one notices.
She noted that her pet becomes more lively when I consume sugary treats. After having a KitKat bar, she stayed active for about two hours, constantly nudging me every few seconds, which I’ve grown accustomed to. So far, this particular aspect of it has been quite enchanting.
However, Gypsy has experienced some troubling signs, which were alarming at first, but it’s expected that these symptoms will resolve themselves post-delivery.
Approximately two weeks back, she mentioned that her thighs have been going numb. This usually occurs when she stands for extended periods or sleeps on one side for too long, whether she’s lying down or on her side.
She mentioned that she frequently pauses during her day, sitting down even when strolling through the mall. She needs to rest briefly as her thighs become tired and painful.
However, it’s all been worth it for Gypsy, who had always dreamed of being a mother.
In her interview on GMA in July, she expressed, “There’s a small, delicate life growing within you – it’s your own little person, a miniature human being. It’s crucial to nurture, cherish, and care for this life, just as I wish someone had done for me when I was young.” She continued, “I aspire to provide the loving care and attention that every child deserves – the kind of motherhood I yearned for.
