We’ve been anticipating “The Alters” for quite some time, but it appears that we’ll have to wait even longer. Initially planned for a 2024 launch, this survival title was pushed back to the first quarter of 2025. However, halfway through that same period, the developer and publisher, 11 bit studios, announced another delay for the game.
11 Bit Studios recently shared on Twitter that their game, “The Alters,” will be released “later this year.” However, an exact release date within the year remains unclear.
11-bit Studios admitted in their recent communique, styled as an internal office notice, that another postponement might cause inconvenience, yet emphasized they’ll utilize the extra time for further enhancing and perfecting the game.
The announcement states: “Although we understand this might not be the news you were expecting, we’re using this extra time to perfect mission specifications and make sure every vital system adheres to Ally Corp’s stringent requirements. Moreover, it gives us an opportunity to incorporate new upgrades into Project Dolly, enhancing your future deployment to surpass our initial expectations.
