Another game based on the eternally dumb Angry Video Game Nerd series is incoming on PS5 and PS4.
This time around, the video game enthusiast known as The Nerd is diving headfirst into an 8-bit world, taking center stage in a game called Angry Video Game Nerd: 8-Bit Odyssey. This game is said to be set in a fresh, ominous universe that features challenging platform levels, familiar foes from the AVGN series, and unconventional level layouts that allow for freedom of exploration.
The most recent Angry Video Game Nerd game to appear on PlayStation systems was Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe, which came out in 2021. It garnered positive feedback and fans appeared to really take a liking to it — let’s hope that the 8-bit version fares just as well.
