Just got some exciting news as a movie buff! The filming for the new Avengers project has just kicked off in the UK, and during a recent live stream, we received an update on the cast. Here’s the lineup for the key characters:
1. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man
2. Chris Evans as Captain America
3. Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk
4. Chris Hemsworth as Thor
5. Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow
6. Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye
7. Paul Bettany as Vision
8. Letitia Wright as Shuri
9. Don Cheadle as War Machine
10. Karen Gillan as Nebula
11. Josh Brolin as Thanos (you might remember him from the last Avengers film)
12. Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp (a welcome addition, I must say!)
Can’t wait to see these superheroes in action again!
In the upcoming Marvel movie, Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Vanessa Kirby (Susan Storm), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), and Florence Pugh (Yelena) will be teaming up with Tenoch Huerta (Namor), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Thing), and Kelsey Grammer (Beast).
The movie features a star-studded cast, including Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez portraying Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Joseph Quinn taking on Johnny Storm, David Harbour playing Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston reprising Loki, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen returning as Charles Xavier/Professor X and Magneto respectively, Alan Cumming in the role of Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum assuming Gambit. Pedro Pascal has been officially announced to play Mister Fantastic.
And of course Robert Downey jr as Dr Doom was recalled at comic-con back last year.
