The latest post revealed Hailey’s heartbreaking news: despite initially being given nine months with no cancer concerns following her bone marrow transplant, she discovered only six weeks later that leukemia cells had resurfaced and were progressing rapidly. Upon hearing this devastating news, her immediate response was one of selflessness, saying, “I no longer care about myself, but I can’t stand causing so much distress to the people who love me.”

Hailey’s passing is reported following the heartening announcement she made in April about being cancer-free, having undergone a stem cell transplant with her brother, whom we know as Kyle.

“Hailey mentioned that she has a lot more recovery ahead. After her transplant, her immune system will resemble that of a newborn for 12 months, which means she’s taking things slow and steady on the road to recovery each day.”
