As a dedicated fan of “The Bear,” I’ve been thrilled to see the show’s success and recognition with the recent Emmy nominations for its second season. The third season was released on Hulu via FX last month, and I couldn’t be more excited that it has already been renewed for a fourth season.
As a dedicated gamer of The Bear, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Just last month, Hulu dropped the third season of this engaging Chicago-based dramedy about restaurant life, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Not only that, but the second season has recently earned several Emmy nods!
“Admitting we’re unsure, Landgraf shared, these choices are truly artistic. Sterlin Harjo chose ‘Rez Dogs’ as a three-part series, while Chris Storer decides on ‘The Bear.’ The question is, how many stories does he have left to tell? I personally hope there’s more than just one season worth of content. However, if there was an exceptional first season but mediocre subsequent ones, I’d prefer the excellence of the former. We simply need to trust the creative process.”
The Bear Season 3 Sets Hulu Record:
In the past few days, it has been revealed that the initial release of The Bear’s Season 3 on Hulu drew in over 5 million viewers. This number skyrocketed to an impressive 5.4 million views within the first four days. With this, it now holds the record for the most-watched scripted premiere in Hulu’s history. Additionally, it ranks as the third-largest season debut of all time and boasts the best opening performance for any FX series on the streaming platform.
In the second season, we pondered whether to extend the show’s success by releasing episodes gradually. But we realized that would be unfair to our audience and against the unique feel of each season created by Chris. So, we chose to stick with our initial plan and continue in this manner, confidently believing it is the best approach for us. Even if possible, I don’t think we would alter it now.
