Confirmed by those supporting the movie, the director of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Sam Wrench, is from a screenplay penned by Jonathan A. Abrams, known for his work on Juror No. 2.
Despite no official casting decisions made yet, given that Wrench directed the highly successful Eras tour film which grossed over $2 billion across 149 shows worldwide, it seems likely that Taylor Swift could be a strong contender for the lead role due to her massive fanbase ensuring box office success.
