The Casting of Frank Stone Showcases 7 Minutes of New Gameplay

As a devoted fan of Supermassive Games and their immersive horror adventure titles, I’ve been eagerly anticipating “The Casting of Frank Stone.” Having grown up playing survival horror games, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I watch the latest gameplay footage of this upcoming single-player title.

Supermassive Games and Behaviour Interactive are about to broaden the horizons of the “Dead by Daylight” world with a new single-player horror adventure named “The Casting of Frank Stone.” Although we haven’t had much insight into this game in the past few months, as its September release date approaches, more information is surfacing.

Thanks to Game Informer’s latest reveal, we now have access to seven additional minutes of gameplay featuring Officer Sam Green, one of the characters in the upcoming game. Sam enters a supposedly haunted mill that forms a significant part of the game’s narrative. Supermassive Games fans accustomed to their horror adventure titles like “Until Dawn” and “The Dark Pictures Anthology,” will recognize several familiar features such as quick-time events, dialogue options, and more. Surprisingly, the footage does not contain many apparent scares. Feel free to watch it below.

The upcoming game, “The Casting of Frank Stone,” is scheduled for sale on September 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and personal computers. The cost of this new title will be set at $39.99.
