As a dedicated fan who’s been following The Cleaner since its inception, I can confidently say that the anticipation for season 3 is palpable! Having grown up watching Greg Davies in various roles, it’s truly heartening to see him back as “Wicky” wading through blood and crime scenes.

In the new season 3, we’ll once again see The Cleaner on our screens, and its mastermind and leading actor, Greg Davies, is overjoyed about it.
“I am so delighted to be back wading around in blood,” he said.
In the creation process, we’ve intentionally included peculiar characters for “Wicky” to encounter in this series. I can’t wait to don a crime-solving suit, complete with an earring that my nieces think is embarrassingly uncool!
Jon Petrie, the head of comedy at the BBC, hinted at “outstanding comedic figures” being involved in “Wicky”, allowing for some exciting interactions. Meanwhile, Vivien Muller-Rommel from Studio Hamburg UK characterized the project as “extremely ambitious”.

By the close of season 2, it seemed that “Wicky” had discovered affection for his colleague Ruth, portrayed by Zita Sattar.
Following multiple playful interactions, they sealed their bond with a kiss at the end, hinting they’re prepared to deepen their connection – but keep in mind, as Davies cautions, it won’t always be smooth sailing ahead.
At a press gathering, the screenwriter expressed, “It’s intriguing to explore this area since popular romance authors might lead us to think that finding your significant other concludes the tale. However, that’s far from the truth, isn’t it? Isn’t it more accurate to say that a harmonious relationship is a rarity?
