Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who are famously recognized as part of Nine Inch Nails, have a unique sound that sets them apart from others. Before they worked on the new game by Naughty Dog titled Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, this duo received a Golden Globe for their work on Zendaya’s complex sports romance film, Challengers.
Obtaining trophies similar to this isn’t something fresh for Reznor and Ross, given their two Academy Awards for The Social Network and Soul. However, it serves as a refresher that the creator of The Last of Us is yet again collaborating with industry titans when it comes to their forthcoming game.
If you haven’t watched Challengers yet, the intense, mechanical synthesizer beats surprisingly match the fierce court action and long, dramatic slow-motion shots. While the movie might not appeal to everyone, its soundtrack is exceptional, and we’re eagerly anticipating what it will create for Intergalactic.
