The show debuted on November 14th and has since achieved massive success on Peacock, also claiming the title as the largest Sky Original series ever in the UK with an opening week audience of three million viewers, as reported by Sky. Given these numbers, it’s no wonder that there are plans for more episodes featuring The Jackal.

The Day of the Jackal season 2 release date speculation
The exact launch date hasn’t been revealed yet, however, considering the production schedule for the first season, we might speculate an approximate timeframe.
Filming for season 1 spanned around seven months, after which there was a break of about a year before the season was finally released.
If Season 2 continues along its current path and filming begins in early 2025, it might mean the show would air in 2026. However, this is all conjecture for now, so fans should stay tuned for official updates.

Who could return for The Day of the Jackal season 2?
