The Dingo

The world of extreme sports is mourning the loss of one of their own.

Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, a former professional snowboarder famed for his role in the Fuel TV series “Danny & The Dingo,” tragically passed away at the age of 38, as confirmed by his sponsor Monster Energy on February 28th.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m deeply saddened today. We, his family, the Monsters, mourn the loss of Luke ‘The Dingo’, a legend whose spirit will forever be etched in our hearts. A statement we shared on Twitter reads: “Our heart goes out to Luke ‘The Dingo’. His unmatched zest and vigor were captivating, spreading a radiant glow wherever they reached.

We’ll always cherish his unique chuckle, his passion for racing attire, and his extraordinary knack for forming connections with those he encountered. Farewell, dear Dingo, your absence will be profoundly felt and you’ll never be forgotten.

A specific reason for his passing hasn’t been disclosed yet. Our team at TopMob News has attempted to contact Luke’s representative, however, we have yet to receive a response.

After hearing about his death, the Australia-born individual, who started his professional snowboarding career in the U.S. at 17, was fondly remembered by his fellow athletes and friends such as Danny Kass, with whom he shared the screen on “Danny & The Dingo” and co-hosted the “UNLEASED” podcast alongside him and Brittney Palmer.

Luke, my memories of you are simply amazing,” the Olympian started his February 28 tribute. “You’ve been by my side through thick and thin. I feel fortunate to have shared countless adventures, laughter, tears, and triumphs with you. You showed the world that the impossible can become possible. You motivated people to believe in their own potential for greatness. To many, you were a steadfast support, always ready to help your loved ones.

Danny expressed his gratitude to everyone who offered their support, saying, “My heart is with each of you as we go on.” He also shared his affection for @thedingoinsnow, stating, “I’ll always cherish this bond.” Wishing for a chance to start anew and make even more memories, he asked for more photos to be shared, both by him and with the world.

Tony Hawk, meanwhile, remembered Luke’s infectious energy.

The author penned on February 28th, “No words can encapsulate the happiness he brought to every event. His laughter had a magical quality that would spread, and he deeply respected our culture because it molded him.” One of my fondest recollections is collaborating with him at the @mammothfilmfestival for a celebrity bowling tournament, where we outplayed Team Dennis Rodman in the end.

He went on, “It’s always provided material for wonderful tales, and I must thank Dingo for being the bridge between us all in this divided realm. We were truly fortunate to have him. The gap he leaves is impossible to fill.

On March 4, Rob Dyrdek paid tribute to Luke by sharing a collection of photos, expressing, “I’ve never come across another individual quite like the Dingo. So far, I haven’t encountered someone with a heart and spirit as pure as his. You can sense it in every post dedicated to him. No matter who you are or what part of the world you’re from, when you met him, you instantly felt a connection.

He went on to say, “Whenever anyone interacted with him, they’d always sense that unique energy,” he added. “He was genuinely extraordinary and will continue to be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to call him a friend.
