It’s been a big week for The Division 2, and it’s closing out in style with a free play weekend.
On Tuesday, the second installment in the series titled “Battle for Brooklyn” was released. Interestingly, this day also marked the addition of the game to Xbox Game Pass, which means it’s now accessible on both PC and console platforms. If you own a PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S, you can enjoy a large portion of the content at no cost.
Of course, you can’t access the new DLC content. However, the original game and its first expansion, Warlords of New York, have been bundled into one collection, providing you with a lot of content to explore instead!
The fun-filled free play event kicks off on May 29 at 3 p.m. UTC and concludes on June 2 at noon UTC. To participate, head to your preferred store and download the free trial edition (which seems to be available exclusively through Ubisoft Connect if you’re using a PC).
If you opt to purchase the game after trying it for free, any advancements you’ve made will be preserved. Additionally, there are substantial discounts of up to 90% available, but be cautious not to pick the most affordable option, as that only includes the base game.
Instead, opt for the Gold Edition, as it features the latest Battle for Brooklyn DLC. At this moment, it’s offering a 60% discount, making it quite a steal.
Grab the free trial now at the Xbox Store or Ubisoft Connect.
