What to Know for The Dragon Prince Season 6

This serves as the second to last season of the animated series, so now is the perfect time to catch up with every season of the series released thus far now streaming with Netflix. As for what went down in the previous season, Wonderstorm teases The Dragon Prince Season 5 as such:

In the fifth season of “The Dragon Prince” animated series on Netflix, starting July 27, 2023, we delve deeper into the “Mystery of Aaravos.” Our protagonists, Claudia and Terry, have acquired a map leading to Aaravos’ prison. In a race against time, they aim to save Viren’s life. Simultaneously, Callum, Rayla, Ezran, and Soren venture out to find allies – both new and old – in their quest to thwart the impending return of the notorious Starouch Elves.

In an interview with ComicBook, The Dragon Prince co-creator Justin Richmond discussed the maturing tone of the show’s later seasons. He explained, “We’ve always said that these seasons would become more mature, which includes delving into darker themes. However, we’re not aiming for a grimdark or Warhammer feel. Instead, we want to explore new emotional depths with our characters. Despite the challenges in this season, there are still moments of hope and joy as we move towards Seasons 6 and 7.”
