As a seasoned gamer with decades of battle scars etched onto my gaming soul, the trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan has sent a shiver down my spine and ignited a fire within my gaming heart. The gritty, Souls-like action RPG has all the hallmarks of an epic journey – a disgraced general, vengeful battles against dragon hordes, and a tantalizing hint at other enemies yet to be revealed.
Prior to G-STAR 2024, Nexon and Neople unveiled the opening movie for “The First Berserker: Khazan”. This Souls-like action RPG is scheduled to release next year on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The game revolves around Khazan, a fallen general of the Pell Los Empire who seeks revenge. You can watch it here below.
In the trailer, Khazan is depicted fighting endless waves of dragon adversaries. Yet, despite his victories, he’s mysteriously subdued by the Blade Phantom – a spectral entity aiming to command his body. Interestingly, it’s this same entity that revives him from the verge of death, so we’ll soon discover how their connection unfolds. Meanwhile, someone mourns a loss and then wreaks havoc. This could be another obstacle for Khazan to conquer; only time will reveal the truth.
