The First of SEGA’s Retro Revival Games Is Looking Sick as Hell

In the initial phase of SEGA’s ambitious strategy to reintroduce several iconic series from their archives, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance appears to be setting a solid foundation.

Earlier this year, we learned that a new Shinobi game was being created, with the development led by the same team responsible for Streets of Rage 4.

Approaching its release on August 29, Sega has been trickling out trailers now and then, and the most recent one truly highlights the game at its finest.

Focusing on the 2D action game’s combat, it looks like excellent fun in the new video.

You’ll have the capability to swiftly defeat enemies and formidable foes with an assortment of moves and abilities, such as unique Ninpo skills and strong Ninjutsu attacks. Mastering all your tools seems to provide the potential for endless combat with adversaries, if you possess the necessary skill.

Additionally, we are fond of the game’s artistic aesthetic, which shares certain traits with the vibrant comic-book style of Streets of Rage 4, yet maintains a more refined and polished appearance in Art of Vengeance.

I can hardly wait to try out Shinobi: Art of Vengeance! What do you think about it? Feel free to share your opinions in the comment section below.
