Just like The White Lotus, Netflix comedy The Four Seasons transports viewers on a journey through a sequence of vacations, following a group of friends who are going through strife.
Originally, a cherished custom among three couples develops into an uncomfortable obligation after one of them breaks up, leaving Nick (Steve Carell) stunned in disbelief as he abandons his wife Anne (Kerri Kenney) for a younger partner, causing shock among his friends.
In subsequent journeys, they struggle with finding a balance in dealing with their new love interest, Ginny (Erika Henningsen), all the while tackling the complexities of their own prolonged marriages, and emotions they’ve kept hidden for years.
The name of the miniseries doesn’t refer to the lavish hotel chain where “The White Lotus” is set, but instead symbolizes the four distinct seasons of the year. Each episode features a different vacation, offering diverse locations and adventures for the characters to encounter.

Where is Netflix’s The Four Seasons filmed?
The main filming of The Four Seasons took place in the state of New York, utilizing three adjacent counties. Additionally, some scenes featuring idyllic vacation settings were shot in Puerto Rico, where the cast traveled for filming.
This region lies towards the south of the state, around 50 miles from New York City, and about 110 miles north of Albany, the state’s capital.
According to the Orange County tourism authority, significant portions of the popular series “The Four Seasons” were actually shot within their region. Scenes featuring skiing, specifically, were filmed at Mount Peter. (As you can see in the image above.)
The show’s crew additionally explored modern film sets in the town of Newburgh, which could have been either Umbra Stages or GJW Studios, for indoor shots. Filming also extended to the city’s streets.
Moreover, the cast and team behind The Four Seasons filmed in neighboring counties of New York, specifically Putnam and Dutchess, which are part of the Hudson Valley. On the other hand, scenes showing tropical beaches during their unfortunate excursion to an eco-resort were captured in Puerto Rico.
