Fury of the Gods” failed to meet their anticipated box office success. This marked a transition period. It was then that James Gunn partnered with Peter Safran in 2022, serving as co-presidents and co-CEOs of DC Studios. Under Gunn’s leadership, a new era for the DC Universe was announced, with “Gods and Monsters” being the title of the initial installment, featuring projects like the eagerly awaited “Superman”.
