Enthusiasts of The Grand Tour can look forward to reliving some of the show’s standout motor moments as four retrospective special episodes are set to air, with the first one coming up in the next month.
Earlier declared, The Not Very Grand Tour: The Power and the Glory marks the beginning of a fresh series, featuring Richard Hammond and James May, as they delve into an exciting tribute to the internal combustion engine.
The show is set to debut on Prime Video on Friday, 18th April 2025, marking the only episode with a definite release date so far. Three additional episodes, labeled as retrospectives, have been planned for “some time in the remainder of this year and throughout 2026.
In a subsequent adventure, titled “The Grand Tour: A Stroll with an Echo – A Journey through Memories,” hosts Hammond and May will embark on this journey alongside co-presenter Jeremy Clarkson. They’ll reminisce about some unforgettable driving experiences in California, Morocco, Colorado, and Scandinavia.
Without hesitation, they aren’t afraid to criticize one another, and the summary hints that they will cringe at the suffering caused by water and mud, bring up Jeremy’s lack of mechanical skill, and relish in a fun montage of each other tripping.

In the second to last segment of the review, the title is “A Slightly Deeper Journey Down Memory Lane,” where the group concentrates on their unique inventions throughout the series, such as Jeremy’s homemade SUV, along with reminiscing about pranks and thrilling drag races.
The project concludes with the title “The Grand-ish Tour: Totally Forgotten on Memory Lane”, encompassing a variety of activities such as speed competitions involving French compact cars and Italian sports vehicles, along with an RV destruction event and some impressively large canines.
The episode reaches a point where there’s a touching goodbye to someone or something significant, but it’s not yet specified who or what that pertains to.
In simple terms, last year’s Grand Tour episode named “One for the Road” seemed like it wrapped up a collaboration that had been going on for decades among Clarkson, Hammond, and May. However, this postscript will prolong the fun, carrying us well into the following year.
Enthusiasts of the three-piece group have been treated to a wave of nostalgic material lately, as Hammond and May revisited the abandoned set of Top Gear just a couple of weeks back, marking their return after a decade.
