Forever Entertainment is set to launch a remake of the 1998 arcade game, The House of the Dead 2: Remake, on August 7th. This action-packed shooter will be available for both Nintendo Switch and PC platforms at a price point of $24.99. Further releases on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One are planned for a later date.
Similar to its earlier version, gamers have the option to engage in combat individually or collaboratively against waves of the undead. In contrast to the initial game, you’ll traverse a city that has undergone changes over almost two years, with the aim of unraveling the mystery behind the zombie infestation. The campaign offers various decision points, and your overall performance can lead to multiple possible conclusions.
In this updated version, you’ll find contemporary graphics and revamped music, but don’t worry, the original soundtrack is still accessible. You can challenge the game’s toughest adversaries by activating Boss Rush mode or hone your skills in different situations using Training Mode.
