As a seasoned veteran of the King of Fighters arena, the announcement of the Ultimate Edition for KOF 15 has left me both excited and a bit nostalgic. The addition of Mature and Vice to the roster is a welcome one, and I can’t wait to see them in action. The Ultimate Edition, with its promise of all DLC characters and costumes, seems like a steal for $59.99.
In addition to Mature and Vice, SNK is also introducing two new characters to The King of Fighters 15. Furthermore, they’re planning to launch an Ultimate Edition for this fighting game on December 12th. This version, priced at $59.99 or €59.99, includes the main game along with all post-release content.
This collection features Team Pass 1 and 2, the Fighter Pass, appearances of characters Mature and Vice, Terry Bogard’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves costume, and Leona’s classic attire. The base game is still priced at $29.99 across all platforms. Each Team Pass remains at $15.99, while the Fighter Pass now matches that price (previously $29.99).
It appears that The King of Fighters 15 might be nearing its final phase of support, given the release of The Ultimate Edition and a lack of announcements regarding new DLC characters. This assumption is strengthened by the upcoming launch of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on April 24th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
