The game “The Last of Us” is now among a limited number of PlayStation 5 titles to receive its unique DualSense controller design.
Sony revealed the new black-and-white controller through a post on the PlayStation Blog, complete with the accompanying trailer and several images.
Noticeably different from standard controllers, this DualSense model flips the traditional black and white color scheme, and boasts familiar Trophy insignias from games. Distinctive emblems like the moth, wolf, and Fireflies logo are showcased in a crisp white.
The controller will only be sold in a restricted number, priced at $84.99 USD, €84.99 EUR, or £74.99 GBP. Pre-orders for this exclusive DualSense can be placed starting from March 14th, 2025, via PlayStation Direct and other authorized sellers. The official release date is scheduled for April 10th.
In a coincidence, this latest pad will debut around the same time as Season 2 of The Last of Us, premiering on Max on April 13th, 2025. Notably, The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC is set to release a week earlier on April 3rd.
As a fellow enthusiast, I can’t help but express my fascination for the unique The Last of Us DualSense controller! I’d love to hear your thoughts on its stunning design. Feel free to share them in the comment section below.
