The premiere date for the second season of HBO’s “The Last of Us” adaptation has officially been set. Previously slated to start in April, it has now been revealed that the debut episode of Season 2 will air on April 13th.
Max recently shared a big announcement on Twitter, revealing three new posters for the upcoming show. These posters feature Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, and Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, who are set to be major characters in this season. You can see these posters below.
Gabriel Luna and Rutina Wesley are set to join the cast, taking on the characters of Tommy and Maria respectively. Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, and Spencer Lord are some of the new faces joining the cast as Dina, Jesse, and Owen respectively, among others. Jeffrey Wright, who played Isaac in The Last of Us Part 2, will be returning to reprise his role from the game.
Season 2 will cover only part of The Last of Us Part 2, and will consist of seven episodes.
