Filming for Season 2 had been ongoing since early 2024, and with production wrapping up about a month ago, fans have been eagerly waiting for a sneak peek at this upcoming series. To mark “The Last of Us Day”, we now have our first comprehensive look at Season 2.
In approximately two minutes, this introductory trailer for Season 2 of “The Last of Us” showcases scenes reminiscent of “The Last of Us Part II” for those who have played it. Besides reintroducing Joel and Ellie, the video also introduces new characters like Dina (played by Isabela Merced), Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), and a character played by Catherine O’Hara that remains unidentified. The trailer concludes with Pearl Jam’s “Future Days” playing in the background, a song significant to the storyline of “The Last of Us Part II.
