As a seasoned Zelda player with countless hours spent navigating Hyrule’s enchanting landscapes, I must say that unlocking Swordfighter Form in “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” was quite the thrill! The battle against Shadow Link was a formidable challenge, but once I figured out his patterns and managed to land a few strikes from behind, it was all worth it.
In “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom”, Princess Zelda wields the Tri Force and Echoes to defeat foes, yet she has an alternative method for head-on fights – the Swordfighter Form. However, you might wonder how to access it?
How to Unlock Swordfighter Form
In the Suthorn Ruins Dungeon, you can unlock the Swordfighter Form prematurely by overcoming Shadow Link. This event falls under the primary quest, “The Enigmatic Rifts,” where he confronts Zelda. The catch is that Shadow Link deflects all frontal assaults. The goal instead is to employ Echoes to distract him and then strike from behind.
Following Shadow Link’s conquest, grab the sword. If Zelda activates the Swordfighter Form, adjust your Energy level sufficiently to mimic Link’s combat style by moving the D-Pad upward.
In the game, Zelda reverts to her original form when the Energy meter runs out. However, gathering blue items in the Ethereal Realm, consuming beverages such as the Creamy Sweet Drink or Savory Creamy Drink, and vanquishing Rift adversaries will replenish this energy.
