It’s been confirmed that the collaborative live-action film adaptation of “The Legend of Zelda,” announced by Nintendo in November 2023 with Sony Pictures, will officially hit theaters on a specific date.
Based on reports from Video Games Chronicle, Nintendo has revealed that “The Legend of Zelda” will be shown in cinemas globally a few years down the line, specifically on March 26, 2027.
Excitedly speaking about it, I can’t contain my enthusiasm as the Legend of Zelda live action movie is now in the capable hands of Wes Ball, renowned for his work on Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Avi Arad, a name synonymous with blockbuster hits like Spider-Man, X-Men, Venom, Uncharted, and numerous others, has joined as producer for this project.
More specifics about the upcoming film – like who will star and its plotline – aren’t clear yet, but we can expect to learn these tidbits soon enough. Keep an eye out for further updates in the near future.
