Among all the items I’ve owned, the Logitech ERGO K860 stands out as one of my absolute favorites. Without a doubt, it’s the best keyboard I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
Using a keyboard with a split-key layout enables me to type comfortably for extended periods without discomfort in my arms or hands. I tend to feel confined on other keyboards and frequently bring the ERGO K860 with me around the house, despite my work laptop having a large keyboard of its own.
Currently, you have the opportunity to purchase the Logitech ERGO K860 at a discounted price of $108.99. This is a saving of $21 compared to its original retail price for an ergonomic keyboard.
Is this a good deal?
As a researcher, I find the price of $108.99 for the Logitech ERGO K860 to be quite reasonable. Although I’ve encountered lower prices in my studies, this figure falls comfortably within the lower end of the typical price range for this accessory.
Why I love the Logitech ERGO K860 ergonomic keyboard
It’s quite astonishing that, considering how quickly technology becomes outdated these days, I haven’t come across an upgrade for my Logitech ERGO K860 keyboard yet. Of course, there are other ergonomic keyboards available, but mine has served me faithfully for years and hasn’t given me any reason to explore alternatives.
Even though I’ve typed approximately one million words on it since buying, my Logitech ERGO K860 remains almost brand new. The only noticeable wear it shows is that some keys have a slightly greater shine compared to when I first opened the keyboard.
Although it was initially released in January 2020, the Logitech ERGO K860 remains at the top of various lists ranking the best ergonomic keyboards.
Logitech truly excelled with the ERGO K860, and it remains unaltered in its design. This keyboard offers comfort, providing a pleasant typing experience, complete with a full number pad and a row of function keys.
As a researcher, I find it evident that when a device comes equipped with a full-sized keyboard, the list of disadvantages tends to be minimal. In the case of the Logitech K860, TechRadar rightfully highlighted the keyboard’s size in their review. However, the size might only pose as a drawback for certain individuals who prefer compact keyboards.
Using a spacious design, the Logitech ERGO K860 is ideal if you typically work with your keyboard on a desk or large table.
I’d like to mention one minor issue with the Logitech ERGO K860: it doesn’t have backlit keys. While I don’t personally use backlighting on any of my devices, I recognize its significance for many users, so it’s essential to note this absence.
I often advise fellow journalists and heavy typists to consider the Logitech ERGO K860 keyboard. It’s an intuitive choice to recommend this keyboard, especially when it’s on sale.
