As I delve into this captivating world of mystery and entertainment that is The Masked Singer, I must say, it’s quite the spectacle! Each week, we are treated to a parade of disguised celebrities, their voices and talents on full display while keeping their identities hidden.
The Masked Singer has finally answered the question on everyone’s minds: Who is that?!
A new winner was finally crowned during the Fox singing competition series’ season 12 finale.
Following a season brimming with intense acts, Wasp and Buffalos were the only ones remaining at the end of the December 18th episode. During this time, neither performer hesitated to give their all when it came to their final songs, each hoping to win the title of The Masked Singer.
The wasp captivated everyone with his interpretations of “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars and “I’m Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston. After delivering stunning performances reminiscent of a mystery celebrity, he expressed a heartfelt message to his past self.
As a lifestyle guide, I’d like to echo Wasp’s wisdom: Just as you rely on your wings when navigating life’s skies, so too should you trust your inner compass – your intuition. Embrace the power of self-belief, let it guide you and empower your journey.
At the appointed moment, the buffalos made their grand entrance and displayed their versatility by singing a rendition of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” and then followed it up with Sam Smith’s emotional ballad, “Too Good at Goodbyes.
By the conclusion of their trip, the unidentified boy band members were deeply moved and emotional. One of them expressed to the judges, tearfully, “It was incredibly liberating.” He continued, “I’m crying now, I can’t explain why. This experience has made me believe that with these guys, we can achieve anything.
Prior to being revealed, the musicians subtly suggested who they were through reminiscences about their lengthy musical journeys.
One individual from Buffalo shared, “We needed to find a path to escape from our challenging neighborhood. We faced the loss of someone incredibly significant in our lives. Moreover, we were forced to completely transform our musical style upon losing a bandmate.
We’ve welcomed a new bandmate, and this is dedicated to our fans, our children, everyone who has stood by us. We remain the familiar faces you once knew, continue to know, and will always recognize. Perhaps, we’ll still be here for another three decades or so.
In the end, it was Buffaloes who took the crown. Despite Mario, known as the Wasp, showcasing impressive vocal abilities, the Buffaloes’ exceptional harmonies proved to be the decisive factor, earning them the title of the top group for this season.
The stars who were hidden under the Buffalo costume in the Masked Singer show were none other than the ’90s R&B trio, Boyz II Men (specifically Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris, and Wanya Morris), marking them as the first group to win this competition.
